Hi Friends of Women in Science,
Several of you have suggested, both in the requests for whom to invite as guests and among the comments under various threads, that you'd like to know more about Association for Women in Science, AWIS. Joan Herbers, the national president of this organization, has agreed to do a guest posting in the Forum to introduce those of you who aren't familiar with it. Even members might learn something new about its national role. Her posting will go up in late PM on Friday. Stay tuned!
