In March, I'll be speaking at several different venues. I'd love to meet you if you can attend; please introduce yourself as a WIS Forum reader!

Mar 2-4 CREST (Current Research in Engineering, Science and Technology) Conference at McMaster University near Toronto, sponsored by Women in Science and Engineering (WISE). The conference registration is free. I'll be speaking on my yeast aging research on March 2 and also giving the keynote speech on women in science on March 3. There will be a book signing after my March 3 keynote talk.

Mar 10 AAUW, Victor Valley, at the Apple Valley Golf Club at Rancherias Road and Highway 18 in Apple Valley at 10 AM. I'll be speaking on how women in science can combine family and career based on my memoir. There will be a book signing to follow. There is a lunch that requires reservations in advance (see website here: (http://www.aauw-victorvalley.com/news.php).

Mar 18, Vroman's Bookstore in Pasadena, 4 PM, (website here) reading from Breaking Through the Spiral Ceiling and book signing along with another local author.

Mar 29-Apr 1, Allentown PA, Pennsylvania Academy of Sciences Annual Meeting at Cedar Crest College, keynote talk on women in science in the evening of March 31. There will be a book signing there as well.
