International African Inventors Museum

Aa Aa Aa

At certain moments, you might be filled with skepticism and doubt. Sometimes you might need a push or prove that your journey in life is not impossible. At these moments I find a great relief and support in reading biographies about successful and memorable people in history. People who carved their names in history through their persistence, patience and intelligence. People who never listened to the sound of despair, and pushed on and finally transformed our lives with just a single idea or invention. It is really amazing how these biographies can deeply affect your self-esteem and intensify your believe in your capabilities.

The international African inventor's museum (IAI museum) is not a permanent museum, it is a mobile museum. The museum was founded in 1988 by Valerie J. Robinson, known as Lady Sala S. Shabazz under the name "International Black Inventions Museum". It was hosted by many countries e.g. Ghana, Canada, Salvador and West Africa. IAI museum features some of the inventors of African origin and gives a hint about their inventions and how it transformed history.

The IAI museum also has another objective, which is promoting for positive images and self-esteem in children. The museum's website provides downloads for teachers to use for educational purposes for young children visiting the different exhibits.

Take some time to learn how those inventors in the old times dealt with their ideas. Despite that everything was not as easy and available like we have right now, they never gave up on their hope and believe.

So, I stand here right now and urge you.... never quite....never lose hope ..... never lose faith....carry on .... believe in yourself.... you can do it.
