COX-2 mRNA and protein expression was examined using RT-PCR (left) and western blot analysis (right). Quantification of COX-2 mRNA and protein expression normalized to actin levels, were provided at the bottom. (b) MDA-MB-231 cells were treated with the combination for 48 h, and PGE2 levels in the culture medium were measured using ELISA. Results were expressed as mean±S.E.M. from at least three independent experiments
