During the assembly of Fig. 1b of this Letter, the sequences of the targeted regions in Eml4 and Alk, shown in the schematic in the top panel, were inadvertently swapped. In addition, the legend for the top panel of Fig. 1b should have read: “b, A schematic of the loci before and after the inversion with the location of the primers used (top panel). The sequences recognised by the guide RNAs are shown in italics, the protospacer adjacent motif (PAM) sequences are in bold and underlined. Asterisks indicate the predicted Cas9 cleavage sites (positions −3 and −4 from the PAM).”. The corrected panel is shown in Fig. 1 of this Corrigendum.
