The cover shows an electron micrograph of a human eosinophil isolated from the peripheral blood and stimulated with eotaxin, an eosinophil agonist. Immunonanogold electron microscopy reveals major basic protein within secretory vesicles and mobilized specific granules. Color was added to the figure for artistic purposes only.
