CALL FOR PAPERS: Multi-faceted Approaches for Breeding Nutrient-Dense, Disease Resistant, and Climate Resilient Crop Varieties for Food and Nutritional Security

Heredity welcomes the submission of original articles and reviews for inclusion in the journal’s latest special issue. The issue will focus on the improvement of nutrition, disease resistance, and climate resilience using multi-faceted approaches, including: development and use of genetic and genomics resources; gene/QTL discovery through genomics and transcriptomic approaches; QTL mapping and genome-wide association studies (GWAS); conventional and genomics-assisted breeding methods for varietal development; and genetic transformation/genome editing.
