PAPUA NEW GUINEA, 1964: A DENTAL AUXILIARY The cover images in volume 210 of the Journal feature dentally-themed postage stamps from around the world. This stamp, issued in Papua New Guinea in 1964 as part of a set to commemorate healthcare in the islands, depicts a dental auxiliary from Port Moresby Dental College treating a child. Much of the dental care for children in Papua New Guinea is provided by dental auxiliaries. Stamp from the collection of Stuart Geddes, BDA Wales National Director. s.geddes@bda.org
