The Phot-X II is a state of the art, DC X-ray unit enabling the practitioner to tailor every X-ray to the individual needs of the patient.
Delivering the ultimate in multi functionality the Phot-X II has straightforward to use, intuitive controls and a lightweight, easily positioned X-ray head. The scissor arm provides flexibility and total stability ensuring perfectly consistent positioning every time. Additionally the Phot-X II is compatible with most types of digital imaging system and two different film types. Sixteen film speeds are available, delivering sharp, accurate images of superb quality.
Importantly the Phot-X II minimises the patient's exposure to radiation by allowing the practitioner to select the tube voltage, current and exposure time to the requirements of each patient. A minimum exposure time of just 0.01 seconds is available where required. The DC X-ray machine also decreases the soft X-rays absorbed by the tissues, helping to alleviate patient concerns about unnecessary radiation exposure.
It is available in four types of installations to offer maximum versatility: wall mounted, room type with stool, mobile type with castors and floor mounted. It is also available with an optional hand exposure switch for remote control.
