Over the past few years, work in mice has suggested that uridine (a nucleoside and RNA precursor) might have a role in regulating food intake, by activating orexigenic agouti-related peptide (AgRP) neurons. A new study in Cell Reports Medicine has investigated the function of uridine in humans.
