Clinical psychology is a multidisciplinary field of psychology that focuses on the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental illness and emotional distress. Clinical psychologists typically work with patients to help them improve their psychological well-being and overcome mental health challenges with the aim to support the management of medical illnesses. Clinical psychology is a field of active research on various aspects of mental health that contributes to the development of new therapeutic interventions.

This Collection aims to showcase the theoretical and experimental research related to health psychology, psychopathological symptoms, perceived health related quality of life, and management of medical conditions in health settings. Particularly, considering the crucial interrelationship between clinical psychology and medical settings, submissions concerning chronic diseases are welcome.
