Condolence for Prof. James C Wyant

We're devastated to share that Prof. James C. Wyant, founding dean of University of Arizona’s College of Optical Sciences, past president of Optica and SPIE, giant in the field of optical engineering, passed away on 8th December. Prof. Wyant was one of the early contributors who help found the journal of Light: Science & Applications, and has visited CIOMP, Chinese Academy of Sciences (LSA's Host) many times. The optics and Photonics community worldwide has a tremendous loss. Prof. Wyant is dearly missed and remembered.
