AUSTRIA, 1982: ST APOLLONIA The cover images in volume 210 of the Journal feature dentally-themed postage stamps from around the world. This stamp from Austria is another of the number of stamps depicting St Apollonia, the patron saint of toothache sufferers. It was issued in 1982 to mark the FDI Conference, which was held that year in Vienna. Stamp from the collection of Stuart Geddes, BDA Wales National Director. s.geddes@bda.org
