Similar to the preparation of 3a (Y) described above, UV irradiation of 2a-Dy·C6H14 (110 mg, 0.060 mmol) afforded 3a-Dy·C7H8 as red crystals (72 mg, 0.041 mmol, 68%). Anal. calcd for C58H110MoSi4Dy4·C7H8: C, 44.41; H, 6.77. Found: C, 44.18; H, 6.62.
