Treatment of [Cp'Dy(μ-H)2]4(THF) (1-Dy) (100 mg, 0.067 mmol) with Cp*Mo(PMe3)H5 (21 mg, 0.067 mmol) as described above in the preparation of 2a (Y) afforded 2a-Dy·C6H14 as orange crystals (110 mg, 0.060 mmol, 90%). Anal. calcd for C61H119MoPSi4Dy4·C6H14: C, 44.02; H, 7.33. Found: C, 43.52; H, 6.96.
