Starting from [(C5Me4SiMe3)Dy(CH2SiMe3)2(thf)] (3.015 g, 4.980 mmol), 1-Dy was obtained as colorless crystals (1.430 g, 76%) in a manner analogous to that described for the synthesis of 1. Anal. Calcd for C52H100OSi4Dy4 C, 41.53; H, 6.70. Found, C, 41.63; H, 6.61. IR (nujol): ν 1404, 1325, 1244, 1186, 1132, 1085, 1015, 978, 916, 847, 835, 754, 685, 631 cm-1.
