Suppression of Graft versus Host Reaction by Mitomycin C

Abstract

AT present there is no adequate therapy for human diseases of immunological deficiency. Immunological reconstitution of children suffering from congenital thymic dysplasia has been attempted using allogeneic lymphoid tissues from pre- or postnatal donors, but these efforts remained unsuccessful1,2, or were followed by a fatal reaction of the graft against the host3.
