Inhibition of Fruit Drop and Colour Stimulation with N-Dimethylaminosuccinamic Acid

Abstract

THE retardation of vegetative growth of legumes and certain other species by foliar application of substituted maleomic and succinamic acids was reported by Riddell et al.1. The N-dimethylaminosuccinamic acid (designated B995) was found to be more stable in aqueous solution than the substituted maleomic2 and was effective in retarding growth of the same species.
