Cellular Location of Antigen – Antibody Reaction in Anaphylactic Cytolysis

Abstract

IT has for long been presumed that for cellular anaphylaxis to occur, the interaction of antigen and antibody must occur on, or very near, the cell surface1. The mast cell is the main site of tissue histamine and can be used for observing the release of histamine under various experimental conditions2.
