Absorption of Vapours and Partial Solubility

Abstract

THE measurement of partition isotherms of a number of vapours in a variety of non-volatile liquids commonly used in gas liquid chromatography has been previously reported1; however, these systems are characterized by the fact that the vapour is soluble at all concentrations. We wish to indicate that the method can be extended to study partial solubility.
