Abstract
IT has been reported by several workers that various kinds of unbalanced amounts of amino-acid in the diet lead to the accumulation of liver fat of rats. For example, the rats fed a diet containing 8–9 per cent of casein supplemented with sulphur-containing amino-acids and choline develop moderate fatty liver, but if the same diet low in casein is supplemented with both sulphur-containing amino-acids and threonine, the accumulation of fat is reduced1,2.
