Abstract
STARCH-GEL electrophoresis1 has been used successfully for the investigation of human and animal sera; it is superior to other methods because it affords greater resolution and ability to demonstrate small components. The same method has also been applied to the study of human hæmoglobin, although the results reported so far2–4 have not provided information different from that obtainable by other electrophoretic techniques.
