Abstract
THE D. spinulosa complex in Europe (cf. Manton1) consists of three tetraploid species (D. cristata, D. spinulosa and D. dilatata) and the hybrids between them, together with at least one diploid previously included in D. dilatata but probably deserving taxonomic separation.
