Abstract
THE discovery of a large fragment of an additional Pithecanthropus skull (consisting of the complete right parietal bone with the adjoining part of the left parietal and a small piece of the occipital bone) is reported from Java by Dr. G. H. R. von Koenigswald and Dr. Franz Weidenreich. This was found in the Trinil formation of Sangiren, where an almost complete brain case of Pithecanthropus was found last year.
