Œstrogenic Activity of Esters of Diethyl StilbÅ"strol

Abstract

IT is a well established fact that the esterification of naturally occurring Á"strogenic substances such as Á"strone and Á"stradiol causes a marked alteration in their biological activity, particularly with regard to the duration of their action. It was therefore decided to investigate the biological activity of various double esters of the synthetic Á"strogenic agent diethyl stilbcestrol previously described by us1.
