Abstract
THE ordinary ‘Osglim’ neon lamp as made by the General Electric Co., Ltd., forms a convenient and sensitive glow relay if furnished with a third electrode which may take the form of a strip of metal foil 11/2 in. wide, pasted on the outside of the lamp to surround the internal electrodes. The type of ‘Osglim’ lamp most suitable is that known as the beehive, in which the electrodes take the form of a disc and spiral.
