Hi, this is Leyla and Sabrina!

Being so fortunate with this opportunity to blog for Scitable, we're more than eager to get started! Our blog will entail recent discoveries in the medical world. We are both grateful that we were accepted to write for such a prestigious publication and alongside such intelligent and accomplished bloggers. We enjoy blogging about the medical world because it is a mystery waiting to be solved! Adults, as well as other teens our age, are unaware of the astounding scientific discoveries happening everyday in the world around us, and we can't wait to talk about these discoveries with them.

Medicine includes a plethora of conditions ranging from the psychological to the physical. We plan to blog in the coming weeks about Alzheimer's disease, recent discoveries in autism, the concept of "thirdhand smoke" and anything else you can think of — we're certainly open to suggestions and requests. We'll not only provide the facts, but we'll look at everything with a fresh, critical eye, providing opinions from all sides and inviting you as bloggers to speak their minds and form further opinions.
