In September and October this year Denplan is featuring on TV for the first time since 2001. The Denplan name is appearing in a prime-time Simplyhealth television commercial.

Denplan is now part of Simplyhealth and the commercial is part of its ongoing mission to support dental practices and ensure they prosper in challenging economic conditions, further promoting positive oral health messages and encouraging people to visit the dentist regularly.

The TV appearance will not only raise Denplan's profile among consumers but will also stress to the public the importance of oral health and the connection between dental health and general wellbeing.

This TV campaign is being supported with a social media plan where consumers will be able to visit the Denplan 'Find a Dentist' website through an app on the Simplyhealth Facebook page – helping to drive prospective patients into member practices. Consumers who 'Like' Simplyhealth on Facebook will also be helping the charity Heart Research UK as Simplyhealth will be donating £1 for every 'Like' received, up to a maximum of £30,000.
