Abstract
A column model in which atmospheric photochemistry and radiative transfer have been coupled together, and with vertical transport represented by eddy exchange coefficients, has been used to calculate the effect of increasing carbon dioxide amounts upon stratospheric ozone. Cooling in the upper stratosphere results in enhanced quantities of ozone.
