Heredity prize for the Best Student Paper 2023

We are pleased to announce the winners of the annual prize for the best student-led paper in Heredity for 2023. As in previous years the quality of papers was very high and we would like to congratulate all authors for their contributions. Always a challenge to select a winner with so many great submissions, but the award for this year goes to Ellen Nikelski from the University of Toronto, Canada.

We would like to thank all of the authors for submitting their research to Heredity and specifically congratulate those contributing to the short-listed papers.
