The 9th Annual Forum for Medical Research
King Abudllah International Medical Research Center (KAIMRC) held its 9th Annual Forum for Medical Research last November, bringing together 1,500 participants, including researchers, scholars, officials, and students. Held over the course of three days, the conference adopted the theme "Achieving the vision of the Kingdom through medical research."
The participants discussed diverse issues, ranging from the need for more clinical trials, to the importance of studying Saudi genes to develop the right medicine for the needs of the kingdom. More than 600 research papers were also submitted to the forum, and several hands-on workshops were held.
