The COVID-19 pandemic caused the acceleration of several societal changes, not least the transition of education and workplace communications to an online setting. While much of this digitalisation was carried out through necessity, the study of the implications of switching to operating models that make greater use of digital resources, online tuition, and video calls is now in full swing.

This Collection invites work that provides insight into the psychology of digitalisation, along with its effects on development, attention, and interaction. Original research studies that result in recommendations about how this switch to digitalisation can be managed are also welcome.

This Collection supports and amplifies research related to SDG 4.
