Transportation has forever played a major role in shaping modern society and economy. As our cities become smarter and more sustainable, so are transportation systems witnessing a significant shift. Advances in transportation technologies, such as connected and autonomous vehicles, electric cars, alternative fuels, traffic analytics, road traffic accidents, and real-time traffic management, have enabled the implementation of safer, more efficient and more sustainable intelligent transportation systems where vehicles and the infrastructure on which they operate are tightly interconnected.
This Collection aims to showcase the current progress and latest applications in sustainable mobility and intelligent transportation systems.
