Evolution of electric vehicles (EV) for mobility and electrification in smart cities
Submission status
Open
Submission deadline
Smart cities are evolving with uninterruptible supply and demand management. With the rise of smart cities’ technology, Electric Vehicles (EVs) are becoming their fundamental building block: by assuring the connectivity, safety, and security in power grids, they are essential in meeting the cities’ local power demands. With this, efficient grid-vehicle integration is in high demand, requiring adapted technical advancements. Grid to Vehicle (G2V) and Vehicle to Grid (V2G) technologies open the research avenues for mechanical, electrical, automation, control, and computational engineering disciplines to devise new strategies.
This Collection welcomes original research on all aspects related to sustainable EVs in smart cities and modern microgrids, as well as the associated data analysis techniques such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Blockchain Technologies, and hybrid methods.
This Collection supports and amplifies research related to SDG 7 and SDG 11.
