Abstract
The new improved triceps substitute brace is light, strong, fits the upper extremity better, and permits pronation and supination of the forearm. It weighs 16 oz. (480 g.) as compared with the weight of our previous brace of 28 oz. (840 g.). The elbow spring is adjustable allowing increase or decrease in the tension of the triceps replacement action. The illustrations 1-4 describe the details of construction. The indications for the use of the brace are mentioned.
