Following GP1 outlined for compound 4, in 1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoro-i-propanol (HFIP), diethylamine (14 mg, 0.2 mmol) gave 72 (16 mg, 56%) as an oil. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3) δ 7.12 (2H, dd, J = 7.4, 8.6 Hz), 6.57 (3H, m), 3.26 (4H, q, J = 7.1 Hz), 1.07 (6H, t, J = 7.1 Hz).
