Abstract
[60]Fullerene bisphenol 1 was allowed to react with equimolar amounts of dibasic acid dichlorides at room temperature, to afford linear polyesters 3 and 4 containing the [60]fullerene moiety in the main chain. These polyesters were characterized by micro ATR-IR spectroscopy and TG analysis. They were soluble in N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF) and weight-average molecular weight (Mw) was determined by GPC.
