Abstract
Theoretical calculations for the mean square of unperturbed radius of gyration ‹S2›0,av and the branching factor g of star-like polypeptides in random coil form were carried out for two cases in which the degree of polymerization of the subchains distributed uniformly and randomly. The radius of the gyration ratio ‹S2›0,av/nl2 and g depended on the degree of polymerization as well as the number of branches, and increased with an increasing degree of polymerization.
