Evolution of Granite Magmas at Destructive Plate Margins

Abstract

Combined experimental, temporal and geochemical observations of cordilleran granites lead to a physicochemical model for their crustal derivation and emphasize the genetic importance of crust-mantle interchange at accreting continental plate margins.
