Large Steerable Radio Telescope at Ootacamund, India

Abstract

Lunar occultation observations for more than 150 radio sources have been made with the steerable radio telescope at Ootacamund, India. The radio telescope is also being used for the observation of pulsars and interplanetary scintillations. It has an effective collecting area of about 8,700 m2.
