Compound 2c was synthesized by the general method outlined for compound 2a, changing the Wittig reagent. 1H-NMR (500MHz, CDCl3): δ 8.34 (d, J = 8.0 Hz, 1H), 8.30 (d, J = 8.0 Hz, 1H), 8.03-8.02 (m, 2H), 7.81 (s, 1H), 7.51-7.50 (m, 2H), 7.47-7.43 (m, 1H), 7.21-7.18 (m, 1H), 2.75 (s, 3H). 13C-NMR (125 MHz, CDCl3): δ 189.97, 170.71, 168.64, 142.61, 141.13, 136.05, 135.68, 133.66, 130.58, 129.77, 127.39, 127.13, 125/76, 120.94, 117.02, 27.23. HRMS (ESI) calcd for [M+H] C18H13ClNO3, m/z 326.0578, observed: 326.0573.
