It is with great pleasure that we announce the recent relaunch of Lab Animal's website. Although the URL remains the same (http://www.labanimal.com), anyone who has visited the site in the past will be struck by the difference in the look and feel.

Aside from being infinitely more attractive, we think visitors will find that the new site contains more useful content and is easier to navigate. Articles will be made available in both full-text HTML and PDF formats, and we are continuing to expand our archive to make a broader range of recent historical content available. The functionality of our search engine has also been considerably enhanced, allowing for full-text searches that yield more extensive results than before.

The online Lab Animal Buyers' Guide is a comprehensive listing of suppliers of products and services of interest to the laboratory animal science professional. Whether you search for a company or product or browse through the listings, we are sure you will find this to be the most comprehensive, up-to-date, and easy-to-navigate listing of its kind. Visitors can also request additional information from companies that advertise in our print issues by clicking on the 'Free product information' button.

The extensive list of 'related links' allows quick access to information on topics ranging from animal care and use guidelines and regulations, to environmental enrichment resources, to key associations and organizations in the field.

Anyone considering changing jobs should make use of the current job listings available in the 'Lab Animal Jobs' section of the site. The site also includes a list of upcoming meetings and conferences, as well as opportunities for continuing education.

Our website is also the place to visit to quickly and easily qualify for a free print subscription. New subscribers and those wishing to renew their subscription or change their contact information will find all the necessary information and online forms by clicking on the 'Subscription information' button.

It should be noted that although all of the information on the site is currently accessible to any visitor, we will soon be implementing an access control system that will limit the availability of full-text articles (both HTML and PDF) to individuals who subscribe to the print journal.

Please visit us online to see the difference for yourself. We welcome any feedback you may have, and any comments or questions can be sent to us at admin@labanimal.com.

Enjoy this July/August issue, have a great summer, and we'll see you in September.
