Summary: Designed to allow students to develop skills in all aspects of work carried out as a dental technician, with practical elements focusing on materials, techniques and equipment given in onsite laboratories.

Dental Technology Foundation Degree

Summary: The practical work of this course is underpinned with theoretical classes that build confidence. Students learn how to use dental materials but will also understand how to select them and why they are used as part of a dental appliance.

Get into Dental Nursing Traineeship and Get into Dental Technology Traineeship

Summary: Both of these short courses are designed to give an introduction to a career as a dental nurse or technician. The majority of the 12-week course is spent on work experience with an employer but some sessions are based in the College developing English and maths skills.

Next start dates: Most courses begin in September 2015 to coincide with the new academic year but the short courses are flexible, so next start dates should be checked.
