Magnetospheric physics

Big storms make little storms

Such is the proposal made early this October at a conferenceFootnote 1called Brazil 5, by a small group of space physicists who meet biannually to discuss the causes and effects of magnetic storms. The group decided that new observational and computational findings are inconsistent with the older huff-and-puff picture.
