Abstract
An experiment based on an extension of the Einstein–Podolsky–Rosen argument has been proposed by Popper1 as a crucial test of the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics. Here we show, by a slightly more complete version of Popper's analysis, although still at a relatively primitive level of sophistication, that the proposed experiment does not in fact provide such a test.
