Abstract
SPECKLE imaging is a process which permits recovery of diffraction limited resolution from atmospherically degraded astronomical images. We describe here the application of this new process to the reconstruction of solar surface features with resolution approaching the telescope limit, despite severe atmospheric blurring in the original data.
