Abstract
CYTOPLASMIC tubulin displays a wide range of polymorphism, including small sheets1 and rings or spirals2. We report here several new structures. One of the most interesting aggregates is a hoop which has a triplet substructure and arrangement of the tubulin dimer, similar to that found in flagellar B tubules.
