Abstract
IN this paper I show that some cosmologies with weakening gravity are in conflict with the measured spin down of the pulsar JP1953. If gravity is weakening, it must do so even more slowly than the limits set by radar ranging. For group theory cosmologies with strengthening gravity, we also give a natural explanation for the lack of long period pulsars.
