Abstract
AN anomaly in the distribution of radial velocities was reported for Sc 1 galaxies by Rubin et al.1. They found different mean velocities in two nearby hemispherical regions (I and II, see Fig. 1), although the mean apparent magnitude was found to be the same for both sets.
