Behaviour of Comet Kohoutek (1973f)

Abstract

OBSERVATIONS of Comet Kohoutek have revealed the presence of CH3CN (ref. 1) and HCN (W. Huebner, private communication) in the coma and of H2O+ in the tail2; although predicted, H2O was not observed3.
